Year 3

Welcome to Year 3

When children start in Year 3 they have moved into Key Stage 2, so the learning builds upon the structure they have experienced in Year 2 whilst moving towards a more independent approach to learning.

Children will learn to take responsibility and control of their own learning journey, they will begin to understand the value of new knowledge and foster a love for uncovering fresh ideas.
