"Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known." - Carl Sagan
At St. John’s, we recognise that Science is all around us and helps children to make sense of the world around them. Our vision is to provide a Science curriculum which enables pupils to explore and discover the world around them, to ignite curiosity and to enhance their understanding of the world we live in. From EYFS upwards, we do this through exciting, practical, first-hand learning experiences, designed to encourage curiosity and foster a thirst for learning.
Through inclusive and relevant first-hand learning experiences, children will experience the joy of learning how and why things happen in the world around us. We aim to make meaningful links between classroom learning and the real world in order to develop their understanding of Science.
