Year 5

Welcome to Year 5

Year 5 is a key year group as we strive to create independent and confident children who have a love of learning. As we prepare the children for their transition to Year 6 and SATs, we build upon their resilience and sense of responsibility. Whilst children are expected to work with independence, they are also actively encouraged to explore learning in pairs and small groups. Our classroom is friendly and inviting and class displays are used to celebrate children's learning journeys and also to provide prompts to positively encourage them to achieve the best that they can be.
