A place to love learn and grow
Year 5 is a key year group as we strive to create independent and confident children who have a love of learning. As we prepare the children for their transition to Year 6 and SATs, we build upon their whole school responsibilities inviting them to support younger children through teams such as our ‘Language Army.’ Whilst children are expected to work with a higher level of independence, they are also actively encouraged to explore learning in pairs and small groups. Displays are used to celebrate children’s learning but also to provide prompts to positively encourage them to achieve they best they can.
Please find additional details about this academic year below.
