Welcome to Year 2!

In our class we are becoming much more independent with our learning. Our mornings consist of Phonics, Maths, English and PHSE. We are working hard to embed all of the basic skills which children need for the rest of their school journey. Afternoons will include guided reading, PE, RE, Science and theme work. Our teachers are Mrs Milne (Mon - Thurs am) and Mrs Wood (Thurs pm and Friday). We will be working with the suport of Mrs Stott and Mr Wooff.

Thank you to families who have signed up to the Seesaw App. It is great to see the children working at home.  πŸ˜Š

Whole School Text

As a school we have chosed to start the term by all studying the book 'Here We Are' by Oliver Jeffers.

This book has been chosen specifically to allow for children to settle back into school life. After a year of significant world events, disruption and unexpected changes this book will help the school community reconnect with each other and re-engage with school life. It is an amazing book with fantastic illustrations. Ask your child what it is about....
