St John’s have had numerous pupils represent school in two different dodgeball tournaments. Both teams represented school brilliantly, with one of the teams finishing joint second in the School Games Values leaderboard for the event!

Jag-Tag Club

At St John's pupils have been learning about Jag-Tag in P.E. lessons and an after school club. Jag-Tag is a non-contact version of American Football which has exposed the children to a sport which is extremely popular in the USA!

Physical Games Club

Physical Games is a weekly club that is run for pupils in Key Stage 1. Children are able to improve their physical skills in a wide variety of games with the guidance of a sports coach.

X-Country Club

X-Country club is run on a weekly basis and gives pupils the opportunity to represent St John's at different running events in Bury.

On Wednesday 11th December, St John’s took part in their first Cross Country event at Goshen Playing Fields. We competed against other schools from Bury in a boys and girls event. Our 11 pupils represented school superbly in unpleasant conditions!
